I just feel like starting another rumor! lol Jaime St. James will be singing for Warrant...
take it with a grain people lol.
Sin.. thats not NICE lol Jaimes a nice guy. Its his promotional person that scared me! or SCARRED me however you want to view it lol
-
Last I heard Jaime couldn't finish a set without falling off the stage. Then again, he'd be a perfect replacement.
And yes - she was scary. God I wanted to kill her. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to breath. Now I know why I don't talk to people.
As for groupies... depends what you consider a groupie. I was told by someone I couldn't be a groupie cuz I wasn't given it up. But I was told by my ex-husband that I was a groupie cuz I followed this certain band around. Pathetic as that was. Anyway... not all "groupies" are bad. Except that dumb promotions person. She is just plain nasty.
-
good point sin, there were girls that would come to all our shows and i don't know if i would consider them all groupies. some of the girls were super cool, let us crash at their place, feed us and what not but there were always the ones who wanted nothing but being able to say they 'hooked up' with someone in a band. doesn't matter who you are, if you were in a band they were more then willing. those are the ones i could do without. why would anyone want something that was just used the night before and probably the night before that. not for me. but i do have some stories from our practice place that could get me thrown in jail, unless the statute of limitations have run out. (and mr. blood can back me up on these since he was around the 'place' also)
-
there is no statute of limitations on certain things... guess you better lay low
-
-
Geez...Jamie St. James...now there is a name I forgot about.
No please no Jamie in Warrant...that would be terrible...cuz he can't sing. Well in Black & Blue he did a good job, but I bought Frieght Train Jane....and YUK!!!....talk about one of the worst cd's he put out. His vocals sucked and the songs were weak.
-
Actually he can sing. And he puts on a great show. But I can't see anyone else doing Warrant songs... they should just call it a day and do something new.
-
yeah he can sing but on this FREIGHT TRAIN JANE cd...what happened...I was a disappointment when I bought it.
-
I hear ya sin...it's like SKID ROW still using the name with Texas boy Johnny Solinger as the new Vocalist. SKID ROW is not SKID ROW without S. Bach.
Sure the new cd THICKSKIN is a great cd....but people didn't like it cuz it didn't have S. Bach.
-
its VERY hard to replace the voice of a band.. Personally my favorite Crue line up is with Corabi singing... but most just plain hated it because it wasn't Vince.
-
I'd probably like it because S. Bach wasn't on it. That guy sucks.
-
Try it Carl..you may like it now.
And Billy...I too loved the Crue with Corabi...I hate the Vince Crue. And as I mentioned before...in an interview, Tommy Lee himself said that the best Crue album was with Corabi. Maybe that's why Tommy is no longer in the Crue
-
Yeah but I bet he still does the "reunion/farewell tour" I just think the album was a stronger album. MUCH less Cheese on that pizza. I STILL would like to hear Corabi doing the Swine disk. I liked that disk alot too but I still think Corabi was a MUCH better singer for Crue... Vince just isn't "dark" enough for that band. And he can't sing live hahahaha
-
HaHa...yeah...
Vince sings like a whiney monkey with diareah...LOL!!!
I saw him with Poison last year...and I just couldn't get into his time of the set.
SKID ROW kicked ass though with their new singer.
-
Ok the first to diss groupies is the first to admit they never toured in thier 20's!Groupies just like everyone else have there place...bigots! lol
Ashliegh
-
I never toured in my 20's, but I did play live in my 20's. But I am sure there is a little difference.
-
Carl, say what you will about Seb Bach's personality but I'm telling you this guy KICKS ASS as a live performer. He can belt it out and rock hard,I tell ya! Personally,I think he needs a diaper change but musically,he's good, real good.
-
Sebatian Bach....In my opinion has the best vocals and vocal range around the Music Biz.
Plus, he doesn't have to yell and scream...and that he proved in the Broadway plays. Though, I have to admit he's a butthead.
-
Seb Bach was a tough act to follow, but I think Jonny Solinger does a great job. Saw Skid Row twice last fall, and the live show still blows most other bands away.
-
Yep, so Skid Row IS still Skid Row without Seb. At least they still have 3 from the 'classic' line-up, and Snake, Rachel and Scotti have never been the type of guys that just 'stand in the background'.
I guess whether a band should continue under the same name depends on the impact the outgoing member had. LA Guns still get away with it, just, with Phil still in the band. Ratt seems a bit of a joke, with just a drummer from the 'classic' line-up, although I've never seen 'em live. Losing Jani will have a big impact on the future of Warrant, imo.
-
[B]<font size=3 color=crimson>I went to the Poison show last summer and I thought Skid Row was by far the best act on the bill...
-
Agreed Stace....
Johnny does a helluva job as the new vocalist of Skid Row. I saw them too at the Poison show....and I thought they blew Vince and Poison away.
